Steeple chasing has taken place at Stratford Racecourse since 1755. Nowadays the racecourse has eighteen meetings per year between March and November. With its strong hunter-chase links the racecourse is amongst the top flight of Britain’s smaller courses. Equipped with a new glass-fronted Grandstand (opened 1997), its showcase meeting is the two day Pertemps Cup (formerly the Horse and Hound) meeting also featuring the John Corbett.
A day at Stratford races is an appealing prospect for everyone – whether you’re a seasoned racegoer or a newcomer!
